  Jewell Smith, the little 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
 Smith, died Monday after several days illness.  The remains were carried
 Tuesday to Salem for interment.  The bereaved family have the sympathy
 of their many friends. (Cedartown Standard, June 27, 1918)
 
NOTE: Buried at Salem Baptist Church in Cherokee County, AL.
