J. W. Clinton. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are living, Messrs. Tho., Jas. O., George. and John Smith, Mrs. Tanner, Mesdames Sallie Ossup, Faith Slaughter and T. R. Mullinax,---and is also survived by sixty-five grand-children and ninety great-grand children. Twelve of her grandsons served as pall-bearers at her funeral.
