D. Becton Funeral services for Louis David Becton, 75, retired merchant and farmer of the Isney community, who died Saturday, February 15, at his home, were held Monday, February 17, at the Isney Baptist Church. The Rev. H. O. Walker and the Rev. Chester Mason officiated, with burial following in the Isney Cemetery. Mr. Becton was a native of Washington County. He was a deacon and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez Lee Becton; six sons, Lee Becton, Loren D. Becton, Bill Becton, Paul Becton, Berry and Mack Becton; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Carlisle, Mrs. Louis Britton, and Mrs. Louise Young, 37 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one brother, John Becton of Battle, Miss; and one sister, Mrs. Carrye Workland.
