ALICE MAE C. GILES Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Mae Campbell Giles were held at Hickory Grove Baptist Chucrh in Silas, Tuesday December 3, 1974 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jimmy Edmonds and Rev. Don Campbell officiating. Pallbearers were great grandsons, Mike Giles, Larry Williams, Don Giles, Sammy Gibson, Gary Downey, and James O. Beard. Interment was in Isney cemetery. Mrs. Giles, 93, who was a resident of Silas most all her life, passed away at Wayne General Hospital Sunday, December 1, 1974. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Silas where up until about a year ago she was very faithful. She is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Eva (Ethel) Singley; two sons, Elba and Herman Giles, both of Silas. Her husband, Mr. Larkin H. Giles preceded in in death by 30 years. A son, Clayton Giles and a daughter, Mrs. Dewey (Annie Mae ) McFadden, also preceded her in death. She is survived by 21 grandchilden, 48 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
