                          Dovie S. Giles 
Services for Mrs. Dovie Singley Giles, age 85, of Gilbertown, AL., were held 
at 10 a.m., Saturday August 3, 1996, from Hickory Grove Baptist Church, in 
Souwilpa, AL., with Rev. Don Campbell and Rev. Kevin Parker officating. 
Interment was in Advaent Cemetery. 
Mrs. Giles passed away on August 1, 1996, at Bay Manor Nursing Facility in 
Mobile, Al. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Edwin Giles. 
Survived by one son, Eddie Giles of Gilbertown, AL., one daughter, Dorothy Rea 
Giles Halbert of Mobile, AL., one brother, Albert C. Singley of Ocean Springs, 
MS. and one sister, Mary Singley Tindle of Mt. Vernon, AL. Three 
grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
