D. Holston, 74, who died Wednesday at her home in Trent, will be held in the Trent Methodist Church at 10am Thursday. The Rev. Evans Brian, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Trent Cemetery under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel. Mrs. Holston was born in Alabama July 10, 1880. After her marriage, she moved with her husband to Abilene in 1919. She had been living in Trent for about six months. Survivors include: her husband; three sons, Noel Lester Holston, Wichita Falls, Morris L. Holston, Abilene, and Bill Hoslton, Long Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. George Hike, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. L. P. Halbrooks, Trent, and Mrs. Louise Roberts, Las Cruces, NM; one brother, Givens Giles, Winnsboro, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchilden. Additional Comments: Mary was born to James H. Giles and Elizabeth A. Lee Giles. Her husband was Noel BeBose Holston. Texas death certificate #15225.
