                         Mr. Benjamin Franklin Locke
 A native of Isney, Ala., Choctaw County, a resident of Mobile County, Ala. 
for the past 22 years, died at the family home on Moffett Road at 1:40 o'clock 
Monday afternoon, April 1, 1946. Funeral services will be held at the Roche 
Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 10:15 o'clock followed by services at 
Crawford Chapel on Moffett Road at 11 o'clock. Interment Crawford Chapel 
Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth Lee Locke; six 
sons, J. O., D. L., A. A., and T. L. Locke, all of Mobile and H. D. Locke of 
Laurel, Miss. and J. P. Locke of Memphis, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. D. T. 
Sims, Mrs. Mae Holmes, and Mrs. H. E. Payne, all of Mobile; grandchildren; 
great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Funeral arrangements by Roche 
Mortuary.

Additional Comments:
Benjamin was born 10-19-1863 to James Henry Locke and Matilda Rogers Locke.
