                      Mrs. Locke, 86, Dies Of Illness
 Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Locke, 86, widow of Benjamin F. Locke, died yesterday 
afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Payne, 106 DeMouy Ave., 
after an illness of several months.
 A native of Isney, Choctaw County, Alabama, Mrs. Locke had resided in Mobile 
for the past 35 years. She was active in organizations of Crawford Methodist 
Church.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Crawford 
Chapel Methodist Church. Interment will be in Crawford Cemetery with Roche 
Mortuary in charge.
 Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. D. T. Sims, Mrs. H. E. Payne, and Mrs. 
Mae Locke Holmes, all of Mobile; five sons, J. O. Locke Sr., D. L. Locke, A. 
A. Locke, T. L. Locke, all of Mobile, and H. D. Locke of Houston, Tex.; 12 
grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

                        Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Locke
 Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Locke, widow of Benjamin F. Locke, 
who died Friday, were held at the Crawford Chapel Methodist Church Sunday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. Tom Ellisor officiating. Interment was in 
the Crawford Chapel Cemetery. The pallbearers were Hugh Payne, J. O. Locke 
Jr., Edward Welch, Clarence Welch, Jack Locke, and R. C. McElveen. Funeral 
arrangements by Roche Mortuary.

Additional Comments:
Elizabeth was born 6-1-1873 to James "Jim" Lee and Elizabeth Ann Gilder Lee.
