                             Bill McIlwain 
Funeral services were held for Mr. Bill McIlwain, 65, of Silas, AL., April 13, 
1983, at Bumpers Funeral Home. Interment followed in Springbank Cemetery, with 
Rev. Clouis Lewis officiating. Mr. McIlwain died April 12, 1983, at Rush 
Hospital, Butler, AL. 
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nell Doggett McIlwain of Silas, two sons, Billy 
and Jack McIlwain of Silas, Al., six daughters - Mrs. Nell Broadhead, Spanish 
Fort, AL.; Mrs. Cecile Carne, Mobile, AL.; Mrs. Faye Spencer of Knockville, 
AL.; Mrs. Deborah Jemison of Butler, Al.; Miss Donna McIlwain of Silas; Pam 
McIlwain of Silas, and his mother, Mrs. Lily Mae BuBose McIlwain of Silas, 
three brothers - A. J. and Russell McIlwain, of Silas and Phillip McIlwain of 
Pennington, AL, two sisters - Mrs. Pauline Mixon of Silas and Mrs. Addie 
Rogers of Prichard, AL., 10 grand children and 5 great grandchildren
