I would like to submit the family Bible record which belong to my
gg-grandfather which lived in the Clark County to the Alabama Archives Bible
Record. William M. Duke was the son of Hardyman Duke who was married to
Sally Jordan. They lived in Clark County in the early 1800's

John Alexander Duke born Aug. 11, 1848, married Martha Ann (Mandy) Bradford,
died April 6, 1908 in Clarke County, Alabama.

Andrew Jackson H. Duke born 1856, married 1st sister Margaret Ann Gates,
married 2nd sister Catherine (Kathy) Gates, died in Clark County Alabama.

James Marion (Jim) Duke born May 19, 1858. Married Henrietta (Ett) Gates,
died Aug. 20, 1922 in Clark County, Alabama.

Virginia Estelle Duke, born Feb. 1846, married Jackson Courtney, died Nov.
1894.

Joseph (Joe) Lankford Duke April 26, 1864, married Mazeola (Zeola) Hicks,
died July 4, 1938.
