Pugh were listed as living in Pike County, AL Final Settlement: Nov 19, 1846 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE:Re the entry of August 11, 1845, "Brensell" B. Pugh should read "Burrell" B. Pugh, my g-g-grandfather, who married Barbary C. Smith in Clarke County in 1823, at that time living in Conecuh County, but moved to Pike County about 1836. Burrell B. Pugh was apparently not related to the prominent Pugh family already in Clarke County at that time. KLINE O. PUGH Cleveland, Georgia
