"Casualties of the Grove Hill Guards. By the kindness of Dr. A. Y. Bettis of the Grove Hill Guards, we are in receipt of the casualties of that company in the recent fight at Chancellorsville, Va. as follows: J. B. Maulden, wounded, since dead. Jos. Harvill, slight wound in hand. B. F. Jackson, slight wound in hand. G. W. Sheppard, slight wound in hand. Wm. Turley, thigh broken. W. P. Wimbish, wound in fore finger. S. A. Walker, slight head wound. H. J. Robinson, leg broken above ankle. Spencer Trawick, flesh wound in leg. W. J. Peebles, serious neck wound. C. Mott, slight head wound. A. J. Langley, wounded in hand. Allen Roberts, slight right breast wound. L. Ozbornd, slight shoulder wound. E. W. Simms, hand wound. J. M. Williams, flesh wound in left leg. W. M. Wimbish, flesh wound in fore arm. D. Walker, right leg broken above ankle. T. A. Walker, slight back wound. W. H. H. Davis, slight hand wound. The following were taken prisoners, says Dr. Bettis, while their regiment and the 26th were charging a hill which had 26 pieces artillery planted upon it behind breastworks, and supported by three lines of infantry: Capt.
