Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Township 20 Section 35 Range 9 Cragford, Clay County, Alabama Ebenezer Baptist Church was one of the oldest churches in Clay County. The cemetery was also used by Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. Lineville Headlight Apr 10, 1914: All citizens of Lineville who have relatives or friends buried in the Griffis Steed cemetery, located on the Lowery place and the Ebenezer cemetery, on the Frank Jones place, are asked to join the citizens of these community in helping better ths present neglected state of these cemeteries. Aunt Betsy Robertson celebrated her 90th birthday today, by giving a big dinner by her many friends, neighbors and relatives. Religious services were held, conducted by Rev. W.M. Worthy. An interesting sermon from a text taken from 1st Tims was preached by Rev Worthy. All her children, except two son who reside in Texas, were present. There were about 150 people present. The program of the day was carried out in front of her house.
