McCollough married 2. Frances Jenkins. Samuel McCollough and his 2nd wife Frances Jenkins-McCollough are buried in the Delta Cemetery Clay County AL. Estate of William P. Ragan in Clay County, Alabama. Nov 1878 Samuel McCollough the son-in-law of William P. Ragan had stated in the petition to Clay County Alabama Probate Court that Wm P. Ragan had died without last will and testament in 1867. At his death he had both personal and real estate. He had asked for the Letter of Administraton bond. Samuel McCollough listed the heirs of William P. Ragan in the petition to Clay County, Alabama Probate Court. Samuel McCollough was granted the Letter of Administration by Clay County, Alabama Probate Court to administer the estate of William P. Ragan. William P. Ragan owed 80 acres of land in Township 18, Range 9, Section 22 in Randolph County Alabama [Now Clay] May 20, 1889, T.A. Reagan a grandson of William P. Ragan had filed the petition to Clay County Alabama that the estate of William P. Ragan had not been settled at that time. T.A. Reagan the grandson of William P. Ragan, had listed the heirs of William P. Ragan. Clay County Alabama Probate Court had issued another Letter of Administration bond to settle the estate of William P. Ragan. Michael A. Ragan [Died Civil War] son of Michael H. Ragan & Mary Jane Ragan. He married Mary A Kimbrel/Kimbrough/Kimball. Thier son Wm Eugene Reagan is buried in the Delta Cemetery Clay County AL.
