Lineville Headlight 1928: The average small church finds it a hard problem to pay their preacher much less donate to missions, but Corinth Baptist Church of Malone Rt 2, in lower end of Clay has solved their financial worries by the more zealous members setting aside a portion of land for their church. The proceeds from the crops grown on this land is sold and cash placed in church treasury for emergency purposes. Other churches would do well to follow the example of the Corinthians. Rev. P. T. Layton, of Roanoke, is the beloved pastor of this church. Corinth Baptist Church has always been the little church with a big heart.
