Bethsaida Baptist Church was organized in 1871.

In 1872 Bethsaida Baptist Church was accepted to the Carey Baptist Assocation
with 21 members. 

Between 1875-1885 the church's name was changed to Rock Springs.

In 1885 the church had 56 members. 

In 1888 Rock Springs Baptist Church hosted the Carey Baptist Assocation meeting. 

In 1895 the church had 68 members.
