Millerville, Clay County, Alabama. 

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church was established on Nov 18, 1853. It is unknown
who donated the land for the church and cemetery. 

In 1854 Pleasant Hill and Rocky Mount Churches petitioned for admission of
the Coosa River Baptist Assocation, having been found orthodox, Pleasant Hill 
Baptist Church was admitted with 20 members. From 1853 until 1895 the church was 
known as Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. 

By 1858 Pleasant Hill Baptist church had requested and was granted a letter to 
be dismissed from the Coosa River Baptist Assocation. By 1874 Pleasant Hill 
Baptist church was a member of the Carey Baptist Assocation. 

In 1895 the name of the church had changed to Millerville Baptist Church with 
97 members. 

In 1896 Millerville Baptist Church hosted the Carey Baptist Assocation meeting.
