The State of Alabama Clay County 
Probate Court, Special Term,
November 2d, 1868. 
THIS day came Thos. W. Newsome, administrator of the estate of Silas Newsome, 
late of said County, deceased, and filed his application in writing under oath 
for an order of sale of all the real estate belonging to said decedent at his 
death in said county, alledging that it is necessary to sell the same to pay the 
debts or said decedent, and also for the purpose of making an equitable division 
of the same among the heirs of paid Estate, and stating therein the names and 
residence of the heirs, and it appearing from said petition that Isaac L. 
Newsome and Sarah McKee, wife of James McKee, who are heirs of said decedent are 
non-residents, and reside in the State of Mississippi, the former near Union 
Post office, Neshoba County, and the latter near Meridian, in said State. It is 
therefore ordered by the Courts that the 2nd Monday in January 1869, be set as a 
day for hearing said application before this Court at Ashland, Ala., and 'that 
notice of the time and place of hearing the same be published in the Reporter, a 
newspaper published in the Town and County of Talladega in said State, for forty 
days before the day set for hearing that copies of said published notice be 
forwarded by mall. postage paid to each of said non-resident heirs within five 
days after the first publication shall have appeared. B. R. BELLAMY, Judge
