We the undersigned members of the Pension Board of Examiners for the County of 
Clay hereby certify that we have examined the within application by law 
directed and we find that said application should be greanted, and the 
applicant placed in class Fourth.

We the undersigned State Board of Examiners, hereby certify that we have 
examine the within application, and recommend that said application be granted, 
and that the applicant be placed in class 4 under the act of Feb 10th, 1899.

AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

County of Talladega

I, William M Ashworth, do solemnly swear that I am personally acquainted with G 
L Horn, whose name is signed to the foregoing application, and that I know of 
my own knowledge that the said G L Horn did serve as set forth in the 
application, and that he did not sert the service, but was honorably discharged 
therefrom.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 7th day of June 1899, and certify 
that the affiant is personally known to me, and he is a person of veracity and 
truth.
