Affidavit
THE STATE OF ALABAMA
TALLADEGA COUNTY

Before me, W T Prickett, a Justice of the Peace in and for said State and 
County, personally appeared G L Horn whose name is signed in the foregoing 
application, and who is know to me, who, after being first duly sworn, deposes 
and says that the statements made in said application are true and correct.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 7th day of June 1889, and I certify 
that I know said affiant to be a person of truth and veracity

This is the J o P's attestation to help bolster G L Horn's application for 
pension.

AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESSES

The State of Ala
County of Talladega

I E L Horn, do solemnly swear that I am personally acquanted with G L Horn, 
whose name is signed to the foregoing application, and that I know of my own 
knowledge that the said G L Horn did serve as set forth in the application, and 
the he did not desert the service, but was honorably discharged therefrom.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 7th day of June 1899 and I certify 
that the affiant is personally known to me, and he is a person of veracity and 
truth.

Additional Comments:
This is another Affidavit of Witness supporting G L Horn's claim to a pension 
for his service in the Civil War.  E L Horn is his brother (Elijah) and the 
father to A S Horn who signed the other Affidavit.
