Lucas Talladega County Alabama Reserves Lucias, John Captain [John Lucas born 1823, died after 1887. He was a Shoemaker living in Buff Springs Old Talladega County now Clay County. He was exempt from military service as shoemaker Governor's correspondence 1863-1864. He formed a Reserves Company on Feb 14 1864 for Talladega County, this unit disbanded in May 1865.
