Barnhill which was located at his sawmill about three miles east of Lineville, Clay County, exploded. Mr. Fleet Adair, the engineer, a young man about twenty-two years old, was entirely stripped of nis clothing. and so severely scalded and shocked that he died in about fourteen hours thereafter. A son of Mr. Pone Helton, about fourteen years old, was killed instantly. Mr. William Dewberry, a young man about twenty years old, knocked down, badly scalded and a leg broken, is reported today as not considered out of danger. Mr. Jake Barnhill and Mr. D. H. Burroughs, who were working nearby, were knocked down by the sudden shock, but fortunately are not seriously hurt.
