Cragford Alabama: 
After being on the job seven days a week for 28 years, W. S. Childs, local 
postmaster, has decided to take a vacation. He has notified postal authorities 
that he will be away from his post between Aug. 22 and Sept, 2 or 3. in his 
absence. Ted Childs, money order clerk, and Mrs. A. O. King, who is familiar with 
post office procedure will conduct the office.
