A dinner was given at the home of Mr. H. N. Daugherty Sunday August 30, in honor 
of his 70th anniversary, with all of his children for the happy event, bountiful 
and delicious lunch Mr. Daugherty was presented with many gifts. Those present 
were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Strickland and children, Frances, Elois, June, Barbara 
and Lenward. Mr. & Mrs. Calvin Law and Donald. Mrs. Korman Morrison. Mrs. Buel
