Our Mountain Home May 28, 1902
A report has reached here that a serious difficulty occurred near Bluff Springs 
Sunday afternoon, between two men, Dawkins and Baker, whose given names we were 
not able to learn. Baker was badly cut, and it is thought that his wound will 
most likely prove fatal. Hawkins was shot, but his condition is not regarded as 
serious. The cause of the difficulty was not given.

Note: The name is written one time as DAWKINS another as HAWKINS.
