The Weekly Herald November 30, 1905
The First National Bank of Lineville, of which R. L. Ivey is president, has 
closed its doors and suspended business. The First National was the older of the 
two Lineville banks. It was not known to be in financial trouble, and the news of 
its failure caused surprise here. The amount of the bank's liabilities is not 
known.
