Anniston Star December 21, 1956
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gray of Cragford recently celebrated their 58th wedding date 
at the home of their son J. L. Gray in Lineville. The pastor who married them and 
his wife celebrated with them, the B. W. Mathews was the officiating minister, 
and he performed the marriage ceremony in November 1906, and it was the first 
marriage ceremony the young minister had ever performed. They enjoyed reminiscing 
over old times. Others present to celebrate with them were four sons and a 
daughter. They are: Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Gray of Alexander City, Aubrey Gray, 
College Park, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. James R. Gray and daughter, Langdale, Mr. and 
Mrs. Cecil Peters and sons. Randy and Wayne of Decatur, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. J. 
L. Gray and Lynda Jo, Lineville.
