News has Just reached here of a murder which was committed at Lineville, a small town six miles east of here, late Saturday evening. A young man by the name of Coon Hilton, while under the Influence of whiskey, became engaged in a difficulty with his father Posse Hilton, and the report says, was abusing his father by kicking him about the room, when the old man drew from his pocket a knife with which he struck the boy in the bowels, from which blow the young man died last night. The Hilton family has resided in this county many years and are quite well known here.
