Our Mountain Home August 28, 1895
In the circuit court of Clay County held at Ashland last week, J. Lee Wesley, who 
was charged with poisoning his wife about two years ago, was tried, convicted and 
sentenced to the penitentiary for twelve years. A man by the name of Freeman was 
convicted of stealing meat from L. B. Horn last winter and sentenced to the 
penitentiary for five years.
