Lineville Headlight December 4, 1904
Mr. J W. Morrison came very near losing his life at the Ashland Oil Mill 
Wednesday morning. While in the oil mill plant on business his overcoat was 
caught in a shaft, and he was whirled around by the shafting within a narrow 
space at a fearful rate. He sustained a broken leg and arm and was badly bruised 
before the machinery could be stopped.

Additional Comments:
John W. Morrison never fully recovered from this accident; he died about 10 years 
later.
