The Montgomery Advertiser April 6, 1904
The latest Journalistic venture to reach our table is The Headlight, published at 
Lineville, Ala., by John R. McCain and A. Weaver. Mr. McCain is now State Land 
Agent, a former Senator from Clay, and is well informed on all public matters, 
Lineville is situated in one of the best sections of East Alabama, in a rich 
mineral region, and is a live and growing town. We wish success to The Headlight.
