Lineville, Alabama:
A physician here was credited today with the. capture of a Negro who had just 
robbed a Clay County farmer. Dr. John Foster said he overheard Manning Martin of 
Cragford report that a Negro man had pulled a rifle on him and had taken $1.90, 
all the money he had in his pockets. Shortly afterward, Foster said he came upon 
the Negro man while making a call in a rural area. He said the Negro admitted 
robbing Martin "because he was hungry". The physician held a gun on the Negro and 
brought him to officers here.
