W. Dean, member of the Clay County High School faculty, was carried to the Baptist Hospital in Birmingham Tuesday afternoon for treatment by specialists for a serious trouble, said to be blood poisoning, which began to develop from a small pimple which appeared on her chin a few days ago. She was accompanied to Birmingham by her husband and family physician and reports are that heroic efforts have been made to save her life, but her condition is said to be extremely critical.
