In a telephone conversation to The Star this morning, Mrs. Pruet stated that "I feel even better than I did when I left, and I still think the doctors are wrong about my condition. Having been told around the first of the year by several physicians that she had only a short while to live, the Ashland woman began making plans to fill her lifelong ambition that of visiting her son in Australia and seeing her grandchildren for the first time. Pan American Airways gave her the round trip, which was approximately 17,000 miles. Mrs. Pruet had a visit with her mother in California both ways. "Except for being tired from the long trip, I feel just fine," the Clay County woman said this morning, "and that trip was something that could happen only once in lifetime, it was just out of this world".
