The Ashland Progress July 12, 1928
The State of Alabama, Clay County, Probate Court.

In the matter of the estate of Opal Clark, a minor, under fourteen years of age:

Under and by virtue of a decree rendered by the Hon. E. J. Garrison, Judge of 
Probate, in and for Clay County, Alabama, on the 6th day of July, 1928.

I, Mrs. M. F. Garrett, guardian of Opal Clark, a minor, under fourteen years of 
age, will sell, for cash, to the highest bidder, on Monday, the 30th day of 
July, 1928, in front of the Courthouse door at Ashland, Clay County, Alabama, 
all the right, title and interest which the said Opal Clark, a minor, in this 
matter, has in and to the following described real estate, situated in Clay 
County, Alabama, to wit:

The E1/2 of the NE1/4; also fifteen (15) acres off of the West side of the 
NE1/4 of the SE1/4, and also 41/2 acres on the East side of the SW1/4 of the 
NE1/4, and also one-half acre in the NE Corner of the NW1/4 of the SE1/4, all 
in Section 34; and also eight (8) acres in the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 
35; and also the S1/2 of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 in Section 27; all of said land 
being located in Township 19, and Range 8, situated in Clay County, Alabama, 
and containing 125 acres more or less, there being excepted three (3) acres, 
more or less, from said tract of land, which has heretofore been deeded to the 
A. B. & A. R. R. Company, for a right of way.
