Owing to the absence of Commissioner Q. B. Randolph they were carried to Gadsden this afternoon and will be arraigned before Commissioner Pinckard. The negroes were brought in by Messrs. J. W. Stephens, W. P. Cole, J. H. Cole and D. H. Ingram. The robbery occurred last Saturday night. The post office is located in the store of Ernest Cole, who is also postmaster. The door of the store was broken open. The robbers secured $6 all the money in the cash drawer of the post office and about $25 worth of merchandise. The negroes were arrested near the scene of the robbery Sunday afternoon.
