Lineville Headlight August 27, 1920
Sunday afternoon at Pleasant Grove church Stacy Abner cut Wallace Boyd in an 
affray over a frivolous report alleged to have been circulated by Boyd. However, 
the cut was not serious, since Boyd saw the knife and having no means of defense 
ran from his adversary who struck in the back and on the shoulder. After doing 
all he could with knife he then pelted him with stones until bystanders 
intervened. It seems that Abner had followed up the Boyd boy on Sunday after a 
difficulty from Saturday.

Additional Comments:
Apparently, Stacy Abner was given probation for his actions.
