It being their old home church founded by their forefathers. At the noon hour a bountiful lunch was spread. The center piece was a beautiful birthday cake in honor of Mrs. Grace Price Street. In the afternoon they sang several songs. Mack Horn made a talk on "Why I like to come to Sardis," and then were dismissed by Mrs. Mack Horn, with a word of prayer. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Price, Mrs. Grace Price Street, Elmer Hines and Miss Carrie Lou Allen of Birmingham; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hardin of Talladega; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Horn and children, Mrs. Hattie Day and Walker Steed of Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. Mack Horn and daughter, Louneal, C. E. Machen of Talladega, Route three, and Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Campbell.
