Our Mountain Home October 9, 1935
A large group of relatives and friends surprised Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Todd of 
Pyriton Rt. 1, with a family reunion on October 6. Everyone carried well filled 
baskets and arrived laughing and talking. The morning was enjoyed by making group 
pictures. The most enjoyable hour of the day was the noon hour. Dinner was served 
on a large table in the yard in picnic style. When all had gathered around the 
table a snapshot was made. The table was graced by T. W. Todd. Those present were 
Messrs and Mesdames T. W. Todd and family, W. C. Carpenter, E. S. Horn and 
family, C.E. Whatley, Willis Dean and family, Ira Arnold, Jimmie Arnold, George, 
O'Neal and Vernie Arnold, C. L. Hutton and family, Miss Willie Kate Birchfield, 
Mrs. Sallie Whatley and Mrs. Brewster Birchfield and family.
