The Grainfield Cap Sheaf [Kansas] December 1, 1916
Last Thursday night J. W. A. Walker and family started for a few weeks visit at 
Cragford, Alabama, the home of Mr. W.'s father, John T. Walker. They will be 
absent until after the holidays and their many friends in Grainfield will wish 
for them a pleasant and enjoyable time. It is the prosperous farmers that can 
enjoy a trip of this kind.

Jan 5, 1917:
J. W. A. Walker and family returned from Cragford, Alabama, the last of last 
week. They report a delightful time, although it rained nearly all the time they 
were there.
