S. Whitley of Lineville. The house was elaborately decorated with holly and mistle toe. Early in the forenoon from different sections in a steady stream the children and grandchildren began to flow into the doors of this their former hospitable home. Until the glad proclaim of welcome and friendly greeting proclaimed a great and happy reunion. This union has been blessed with eleven children all of whom have grown to staunch manhood and womanhood. All are living and are married except two youngest boys. Only seven of the children were present, as sickness made it impossible for the other four to be there, They were; Mr. and Mrs. H, M. Preston and Woodrow, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Whitley and family of Delta; Mr. and. Mrs. John H. Miller and family of Anniston; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller and family of Florida. It was the only shadow on the otherwise happy occasion. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Whitley and family of Lineville; Mr. and Mrs. R.S. Whitley and family of Delta; Hubert Whitley of Leeds; Hubert Whitley of Lineville, Mr. and Mrs. W T. Harwell and family of Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Noel of Anniston; Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Miller of Talladega and Miss Gladys Preston of Delta were all there to multiply the pleasures and broaden the smiles of these two remarkable parents. Other guests were: Rev. and Mrs. Henson and family; Fred Dulin and Tillman Stephens, The Christmas color scheme was carried out in the dining room and table decorations, and the table was centered with two big roasted turkeys. After the blessings of God were invoked upon the festivities and the family by the esteemed minister the sumptuous repasn was enjoyed to the utmost by forty people. After lingering for a while in which many memories were called up discussed and enjoyed the friends and relatives, made their departure fully. Cognize it of the fact that one of the brightest days in their lives of some hap passed forever out here's one who hopes the impression made may linger to brighten many a day to come.
