J. Woods popular member of the forces of the real estate firm of M. C. Kiser has become part owner the renting and leasing department of that concern. This information was given out by the M. C. Kiser Realty company whose offices are on the third floor of the Candler building. T. J. Woods is known to many Atlantans as developer of the Piggly Wiggly stores in this city. He opened the first of these popular chain store here and operated them for some time. It was through his experience with the chain stores that Mr. Woods became acquainted with Marion Kiser head of the firm through which several of the Piggly Wiggly store site were leased and upon disposing of his interests in the grocery house to the national Piggly Wiggly organization. Mr. Woods joined the sales and renting staff of the Kiser agency. Woods came to Atlanta from Talladega Ala. where he conducted a retail mercantile business for several years and where he was looked upon as one of the successful businessmen of that bustling little city. As a real estate man Mr. Woods has steadily pained in efficiency and popularity according to his employer and associates. and be is known at thin time as one of the ablest real estate men of the city. Among the big deals that have been put across through the activities of Mr. Woods was the Cecil hotel lease. It is declared that he was largely instrumental in bringing this big enterprise to Atlanta. Ashland Progress Feb 02, 1923: The Atlanta Constitution of January 21 gives quite a complimentary write-up of the rapid promotion of T.J. Woods in real estate circles of Atlanta. He is referred to as developer of the Piggly Wiggly stores of that city in which enterprise he was engaged before entering the real estate business. Mr. Woods was born near Millerville in Clay County, but while a mere boy went to Talladega where he started on his successful career. He is now considered one of the ablest real estate men in Atlanta.
