There were 8 children 14 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren, and a host relatives and friends present. Rev. J.W. Dean read a sculpture lesson and made an interesting talk followed by prayer after which a bountiful dinner was served out on the grave to more than fifty people. Mr. and Mrs. Young reared twelve children, six girls and six boys, all are living except one. Those present were: Charles and John of Cragford, Sid of Anniston and Schaffer. The girls present were Mrs. Joe Kennedy of Delta, Mrs. Vance Lucus of Ashland, Mrs. Dewey Jennings of Jennings Mine and Mrs. Albert Ingram of Wilsonville. Others present Were: Mrs. Jordan of Ashland and Mrs. John D. McCrary of Lineville, sisters of Mrs. Young and one brother, Mr. Bill Brown, Mr. Wilkerson of Cragford, Rev. J. W. Dean and son, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Cofield and son Davan and Grandma Cofield, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Lester and Dave Duke of Addison, Mrs. Hill McCrary, Mrs. Pearl Owens and children, Mr. and Mrs. S, J. Cofield and children. After dinner all gathered in the parlor ana sang some old sacred songs after which all the children promised to meet the mother in the great beyond. The day was greatly en joyed by all present. We wish there be many more happy birthdays.
