The Union-Banner May 2, 1895
John Mitchell and George Kenedy boys seventeen years old, undertook to wreck the 
Sample Lumber Company's log train Thursday near Hollins, Clay County, because the 
engineer refused to let them ride. They placed rocks pieces of a goods box and a 
crosstie on the track. They were captured and tried before Justice Robinson and 
bound over in a bond of $503. They did not make the bond and were sent to jail at 
Ashland.
