Services for Breeman Ackles, 47, of Ashland will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethel 
Baptist Church with the Rev. A.L. Dowdell officiating. Burial will be in 
Memorial Garden Cemetery with Garrett Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Ackles died 
Monday in Ashland. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Ann Ackles of Ashland; 
eight daughters, Miss Saundra Ackles, Miss Tara Ackles, Miss Christy Ackles, 
Miss Angela Ackles, Miss Tammie Ackles, Miss Terri Ackles, Miss Lizzie Ackles 
and Miss Tamarra Ackles, all of Ashland; five sons, Patrick Ackles, Baretta 
Ackles, Christopher Ackles, Breeman Ackles Jr. and Johnathan Ackles, all of 
Ashland; his mother, Mrs. Icybell Ackles of Lineville; his father, Jessie L. 
Ackles of Lineville; four sisters, Mrs. Lera Williams of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. 
Nellie Brown of Heflin, Mrs. Effie Hill of Birmingham and Mrs. Willie Mae Cook 
of Lineville; and two brothers, Jerry Ackles of Lineville and Terry Ackles of 
Anniston. Pallbearers will be Joe L. Simmons, Bennie C. Simmons, Billy Sims, 
Robert L. Cosby, Alvin Craig and Ben Street. Honorary pallbearers will be 
deacons of Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Ackles was preceded in death by two 
children, Sharron Ackles and Richard Ackles.
