Services for Clarence "Roney" Adams, 52, of Lineville, Rt. 2, will be Thursday at 
11 at a.m. Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Halsey and the Rev. Lewis Bowen 
officiating Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in 
charge. Mr. Adams died Monday. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Adams; a 
son, James Adams of Leeds; three sisters, Mrs. A. R. Mitchell of Delta, Mrs. 
Robert Hudson of Oxford and Mrs. K. V. Forbus of Anniston; a brother, Leaman 
Adams of Lineville; and a grandchild. Pallbearers will be Orblee Estes, Charles 
Lee, Donnie Lett, Wilson Pettus, Charles Nabors and Thesley McKay. Mr. Adams was 
a veteran of World War II and a retired civil service employee from Bynum. The 
body will remain at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville until time of services.
