Mrs. Ista Daniel Adams, 75, of Delta, Rt. 1, died Thursday in Clay County Nursing 
Home after a long illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethel 
Baptist Church, Delta, with the Rev. Elmer Wheeles and the Rev. Glenn Cooper 
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service 
Funeral home in charge. Survivors include a son, Henry D. Adams of Delta; two 
sisters, Mrs. Cora B. Wade of Delta, and Mrs. M. R. Russell of Oxford; two 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Adams, 
Ronnie Adams, Alvis Mitchell, Kenny Mitchell, Benny Russell, Jimmy Rooks and 
Robert Howle. The body will remain at the residence of Henry Adams until time of 
funeral.
