A. Alexander, died at her home at Lineville on August 23 and was buried the following day at Lineville. Mrs. Alexander was born July 18, 1853, being 82 years, 1 month, and 5 days old at the time of her death. The funeral service was conducted at the home by Rev. L. M. Harris, assisted by Rev. Homer Roberts and Rev. B. W. Matthews, after which burial took place in the Lineville cemetery, Blair directing. Mrs. Alexander leaves two and five daughters, viz: George Alexander, Birmingham; Willie Alexander, Ashland; Mrs. Lena Young, H. J. Carwile, Pyriton; Mrs. P. D. Atchison, Lineville Mrs. Cora Pearl Eidson, San Angelo, Texas; Mrs. Minnie Tomlin, Wedowee. There are also- 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
