Anniston Star
William C. Allen, 68, of Washington, D. C. died Sunday at U.S Soldier's Home 
Hospital in Washington, D.C. after a short illness Funeral service will be held 
at Usrey Chapel Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Lineville 
City Cemetery with directing the arrangements. He is survived by one daughter. 
Miss Bettie Jean Allen of Anniston.

A retired master sergeant, he was a veteran of both World Wars.
