Leander Archer, 41, of Cragford, died Tuesday at Clay County Hospital. Services 
will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Harmony Christian Church with the Rev. Elmer 
Wheeles and the Rev. Arthur McCullers officiating. Burial will be in the 
adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include 
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Archer of Cragford; three sisters, Miss Jean 
Archer of Cragford, Mrs. May McCormick of Wedowee, and Laura Ruth Carr of 
Lineville, and a brother, Leon Archer of Cragford. The body will remain at the 
residence until time of services.
